2.) The difference between " Glossy " and " Matte" 

The "Glossy" type is that 2 pcs caps surface are glossy.

The "Matte" type is that 2 pcs caps surface are matte.

So the difference between Size 20 Glossy & Size 20 Matte is only the caps surface. All sizes are same.

 

3.) The difference of Size 16, Size 20, Size 20 Long Prong, Size 22

Size 16 with smaller caps & shorter cap prong, so it's for thinner cloth. (Detailed size information see above form)

Siz 20 & Size 20 Long Prong with same diameter caps. But Size 20 Long Prong with longer cap prong.

So Size 20 is the most commonly used size. Size 20 Long Prong is for thicker cloth.  (Detailed size information see above form)

Size 22 with bigger caps & longer cap prong. it's for thicker cloth. (Detailed size information see above form)

And it has 2 sizes different caps. One is smaller, one is bigger. But the cap prong length is same. So that you can put bigger cap outside, or put smaller cap outside, it depends on your preference.

Actually Size 20 Long Prong has same cap prong length like Size 22, so if you don't like bigger caps,and meanwhile, you want to use snaps in the thicker cloth,you can totally choose Size 20 Long Prong.

 Tips: Snaps are not one-size-fits-all. 

If snaps are too long for your fabric, they won't close properly. If they're too short, they'll fall off.

And meanwhile, some cloth maybe not too thinner, but it's easy to tear, so maybe Size 16 snaps is better.

Based on this reason, it's important to choose the proper size / length as per your material.

Which size works best for you will depend on a number of variables, such as the fabric, its density and compression levels, how hard you are able to press, and your own personal preference. 

For these reasons, sorry that we are unable to provide specific size recommendations for every scenario.
