Plastic Grommet Washers – Optional Support Washers for Brass Grommets / Eyelets
These Plastic Grommet Washers are optional support washers for brass grommets and eyelets.
They can be used together with brass grommets and brass washers to help make the grommets more stable on certain materials.
📝 Tips from Rachel
The plastic washer is not absolutely necessary for installing grommets.
In most cases, the brass grommet and brass washer can be installed directly.
However, if your material is too thin, too soft, or made of a special material, and you feel that the grommet is not secure enough after installation, you may try adding one plastic washer between the grommet and the brass washer.
This may help the grommet fit more firmly and stay more stable on the material.

🔹 How to Use -- Suggested installation order:
1. Insert the brass grommet through the hole in the material.
2. Place the plastic washer on the back side of the material.
3. Place the brass washer on top of the plastic washer.
4. Use a press machine and matching dies to set the grommet.
