This leather tool sharpening jig is designed to help sharpen and restore the cutting edge of leather edge bevelers, groovers, and other flat leathercraft tools. It helps keep the sharpening angle more stable, making the sharpening process easier and more controlled.

🔹 How to Use:

1. Place suitable sandpaper on the sharpening jig.

2. Choose the groove size that best fits your tool.

3. Hold the tool firmly and place the cutting edge on the sandpaper.

4. Pull the tool backward in one direction to sharpen the edge.

5. Repeat as needed until the edge becomes smooth and sharp.

🔹 Important Usage Tips:

✔ Sandpaper is required. We recommend using at least 1000-grit sandpaper or finer.

✔ This jig cannot be used directly without sandpaper.

✔ When sharpening, pull the tool backward in one direction each time. Do not rub the tool back and forth repeatedly, as this may affect the cutting edge.

✔ This is a universal sharpening aid and is suitable for most leather edge bevelers.

✔ If your tool does not fit a groove perfectly, you may choose a slightly smaller groove and add a small piece of paper underneath the sandpaper to adjust the fit.

✔ For regular maintenance, diamond polishing paste can also be used to polish your tool. If polishing paste is not enough to restore the sharpness, this sharpening jig can help reshape and sharpen the edge.
